Valencia Group appoints Marcus Latner General Manager at Lone Star Court

Valencia Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Marcus Latner to General Manager of Lone Star Court, a hotel in Austin, TX.   Mr. Latner began his hospitality career with Valencia Group as a valet parking attendant at Hotel Valencia Riverwalk, in San Antonio, TX and quickly grew through the ranks  assuming leadership roles in the areas of operations, food and beverage and sales.

Lone Star Court is the flagship property in an entirely  new hotel concept by Valencia Group of retro-inspired authentic Americana roadside hotels.  Lone Star Court is scheduled to open in the Summer of 2013.

Hotel Sorella Country Club Plaza names General Manager

Valencia Group is pleased to announce that Robert Leyva has been named General Manager at Hotel Sorella Country Club Plaza.  Leyva brings over a decade of hospitality experience to his new role at our Kansas City Hotel,  with a strong background in Operations and  Food & Beverage.  In addition,  Leyva has been a leader in developing the service culture that Valencia Group Hotels are known for. Hotel Sorella Country Club Plaza is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2013.

Mr. Williams brings extensive experience in hospitality and real estate, including global markets, to the Valencia Group executive team. He will direct and oversee all development, entitlement and construction endeavors for Valencia Group. Mr. Williams  has a proven track record with The Walt Disney Company and Castle & Cooke.
